Vintage 9ct Gold Smokey Quartz Cocktail Ring

A fabulous vintage statement ring dating to 1977, crafted in 9ct yellow gold and set with an impressive rectangular smoky quartz. The large faceted stone displays warm, earthy brown tones and is held securely in a raised four-claw setting, giving the ring a striking profile while allowing plenty of light into the gemstone.
The gold band and openwork shoulders keep the design elegant and beautifully balance the substantial centre stone. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1977, with the maker’s mark REP, this is a wonderfully distinctive piece of 1970s jewellery.
