Vintage Sterling Silver Caithness Glass Millefiori Luckenbooth Heart Pendant

A lovely vintage sterling silver Luckenbooth pendant made by Caithness Jewellery dated 1971. At the centre of the heart there is a millefiori glass dome depicting a Scotch thistle. The pendant comes with a sterling silver 56cm chain.
We have cleaned and polished this pendant with care. It is excellent condition, ready to be once again cherished.

The Luckenbooth heart is one of the most romantic Scottish symbols of love, dating from the 17th century. It is often given as a token of betrothal, affection, and friendship. The heart symbolising love, with a crown for loyalty, topping the heart.
