This is a fabulous vintage solid silver dolphin brooch designed by the renowned Arno Malinowski for Georg Jensen. The dolphins are leaping in unison. Â It is a timeless statement of Scandinavian design.
Arno Malinowski worked at Georg Jensen from 1936 to 1944 and again from 1949 to 1965.He was a Danish designer, sculptor, and silversmith known for his elegant and nature-inspired designs, often featuring animals and mythological motifs. Arno Malinowski won numerous awards for his designs. He received a silver medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1925, the Eckersberg Medal in 1933 and the Carlson Prize in 1936. His work is highly sought after by collectors today.
The brooch is in excellent condition. It has been cleaned and polished with care.
