Vintage 18ct Gold Diamond and Opal Cluster Ring

A truly gorgeous 18ct gold diamond and opal cluster ring.
The opal displays blues, greens and reds in a mesmerising play of colours.
The oval opal has been millegrain set and is surrounded by a halo of diamonds set in platinum. All on an 18ct gold crown setting.
There are a total of ten diamonds, with a diamond weight of 0.15ct approx.
The top of the shoulders are tipped with platinum.
We have dated this ring as circa 1940
