Victorian 15ct Gold Snake on Globe Locket

This is a fabulous early Victorian padlock locket. It is in the shape of a globe and has a snake travelling around it.
It could have been a mourning pendant.
It opens and shuts perfectly. It is in excellent condition.
Dated: Early Victorian period c1840-1850
Tested as 15ct on an XRF Gold analyser.
Weight: 8.7 grams
The globe is approx. the size of a penny.
