Georg Jensen Vintage Sterling Silver Cactus Brooch #274 by Gundorph Albertus (c.1935–1942)
£325.00
A beautifully preserved example of early Georg Jensen craftsmanship, this vintage Cactus brooch (#274) was designed by esteemed silversmith Gundorph Albertus and produced in Denmark during the mid-1930s to early 1940s. The iconic Cactus pattern, introduced in 1930, is celebrated for its stylised organic forms and sculptural Art Deco influence—qualities clearly showcased in this elegant oval brooch.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver, the piece features Jensen’s early dotted oval hallmark, confirming pre-1945 manufacture, together with the model number 274.
It has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring its bright silver surface while retaining the crisp detail of the floral motif.
