Diamond rings don’t have to be reserved for proposals. Many of the pieces in our collection, make great right-hand rings, anniversary gifts or “I’ve earned this” treats, as well as more traditional engagement-style designs. Some are bold clusters or trilogy rings that like to be noticed; others are slimmer bands that add just enough sparkle alongside the jewellery you already wear.

Different diamond looks, from subtle to standout

A row of small diamonds in a band gives a very different feel to a single larger stone or a vintage-style cluster. If you prefer something low-key, look at the neater diamond bands and simple solitaires. If you like more of a statement, the larger clusters and multi-stone rings are where you’ll find rings that really catch the light. The photos and descriptions should give you a clear idea of how much presence each ring has on the hand.

Why choose a pre-owned or antique diamond ring?

Pre-owned and antique diamond rings often have details you don’t see as much on the high street such as old-cut stones, hand-carved shoulders, unusual settings and older hallmarks. They can also offer better value than buying similar quality brand new. Many of the rings here started life with well-known jewellers or were made decades ago, and we select them because they still have plenty of life and wear left in them.

What we check before listing a diamond ring

Every diamond ring is inspected before it goes on the website. We check that stones are secure in their settings, note any wear to claws or bands, and record hallmarks and ring sizes where present. If there is anything you should be aware of such as a slightly rubbed mark or evidence of past resizing, we mention it in the description so there are no surprises when you open the box.
