Vintage 9ct Gold Blue John Stone Statement Signet Ring

This is a fabulous vintage 9ct Gold Blue John stone statement ring from the 1970’s.
Blue John is a unique stone only found in the Castleton area of Derbyshire, England.
The oval Blue John stone has been rub-over set in a rectangular box frame of 9ct yellow gold.
It has surface inclusions and a small chip on the base of the stone. This can not be seen when worn.
This ring has wide shoulders.
It is a true statement ring.
