Antique Mizpah Jewellery

We love Antique Jewellery. There is something really special about it. Today I have found the most beautiful Victorian Diamond set Mizpah ring. It is hallmarked Birmingham 1876.
Mentioned in the Bible, Mizpah is a Hebrew word that has come to symbolise an emotional bond between two people. Mizpah jewellery was generally exchanged between two people who were lovers or close friends and might be separated from each other for some amount of time.

This lovely ring has now been sold and is on it’s way to the U.S.A.
